President

Larry Barnes

Larry is the founder, owner and President of Sabal Transport, Inc. A third generation Floridian, he is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Business and a proud lifelong native of Bartow. He has a deep interest in trains, planes and automobiles and began Sabal Transport, Inc. following his passion for business and transportation.

Operations

Jeremy Barnes

Jeremy is head of Operations and Dispatch Manager for Sabal Transport. He is a native Floridian and lifelong resident of Bartow. Jeremy is the face of the company and is routinely involved with the Bartow Chamber of Commerce as well as other local organizations. He has been with Sabal Transport for over 20 years. Jeremy attended the University of Florida and has interests in business development, agriculture and transportation.

Shop Manager

Aaron Barnes

Aaron is the head of Maintenance for Sabal Tranport. He is a lifelong resident of Bartow and attended Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. He has been with Sabal Transport for 25 years. He assures that our maintenance department is running smoothly and safely.

Dispatch Coordinator

Greg Morris

Greg has been with Sabal Transport for 4 years. He is primarily responsible for coordinating drivers to and from loads. Greg has been in the transportation industry for over 10 years and is experienced in customer and driver service. Greg holds a Bachelor's in Religious Studies and Master's in Marriage and Families from Liberty University. He is a big Clemson fan among of sea of Gators.

Dispatch Coordinator

Michael Aycock

Michael has been with Sabal Transport for 2 years and is one of the Dispatch Coordinators. He specializes in trailer tracking and is an important part of Sabal's quality control. Michael was in the Navy for 4.5 years and resides in Winter Haven with his family.

Safety Director

Ken Chambers

Ken has been in the transportation business for over 20 years from driving a truck, to dispatching and now safety. He also was a police officer for many years. His expertise is in DOT compliance and driver recruiting and is a core part of what makes Sabal Transport top notch. He has been with Sabal for 1.5 years.

Personnel Manager

Vicky Barnes

Vicky has been with Sabal Transport in some capacity since its beginning. Currently, she manages personnel and employee health insurance. Vicky is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in art education. She is not originally from Florida (she was an Army brat), but has lived in Bartow most of her life.

Office Manager

Rebekah Barnes

Rebekah is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Human Resources and Business. She has worked in various industries including architecture, interior design and government. Her expertise is in office management and technology. She has been with Sabal for 11 years. She is also a lifelong Floridian.

Billing Coordinator

Beverly Nelson

Beverly has been with Sabal Transport in various roles for 15 years. Currently, she manages customer billing and rates. Beverly has lived in Mulberry her entire life with her husband and 2 grown children. Transportation is in her blood - her father and cousin are truck drivers.

Payroll Coordinator

Dobbie Oemler

Dobbie has worked in the trucking industry off and on for over 10 years. She currently manages payroll and orientation and also acts as coordinator for the office handling duties ranging in all departments. Dobbie has been with us for almost 2 years.
